In the year 1979 Mohta Commercial Company (MCC) was formed by Mr.K.L.Mohta with an aim of making a place for itself in heavy and Fine Chemicals dealership sector. The Company had limited resources, but its bright prospects and brighter future gave it the motive to surge forward. The ability of the Company to grab every opportunity which came  its way saw it through the ups and downs of the market and to fulfill its aims. It could be well seen from the fact that what started off as a dealership of only a few chemicals is now proudly dealing in a number of heavy and fine chemicals as well as food chemicals.

The Company took a major step in the year 1995 to become the C & F Agent of M/s Duckworth Flavours (I) Pvt Ltd for Eastern India. M/s Duckworth Flavours (I) Pvt Ltd is a company jointly owned by Khoday Group of India and Duckworth Group of England. Within a span of 5 years MCC has made a special name for itself in Duckworth Flavours (I) Pvt Ltd in terms of sales, Collections, proper attentions to customers and providing services to them.

The Company is planning to explore greener pastures in the near future. With lot of opportunities coming up in food industries , the company is planning to get the distributorship of some skimmed milk powder and other food related items, food colours, perfumeries etc.  The Company is ever open to new business ideas and judging by its past records and the enthusiasm shown by the young blood, sons of Mr.K.L.Mohta, Mr.Rahul Mohta and Mr.Rohit Mohta,  it could well be said that for Mohta Commercial Company, sky is the limit.
